Meet Joe the Intern
Hey everybody, it’s me! Joe the Intern. You may not all know me, because I’m new. So I thought I would introduce myself to everybody so that everybody knows everybody. I’m Joe, I’m 20 and I am a film major. It’s my dream to be like Quentin Tarantino or Troy Duffy. I really like film cause it’s so awesome and stuff. I also play the guitar. I like all kinds of music except for Pop and Country, because they’re you know, so lame. I mainly listen to underground rap like A$AP Rocky and Cheef Keef, and Indie music like the Grizzly Bears and Bon Ivor. I think their music is really cool.
College so far for me has been pretty good. I like taking classes and stuff, most of the time the Profs are cool and the homework isn’t that hard. But some times all the teachers decide to assign a paper at the same time, and I have to pull an all nighter or two. I usually stay up till like three or so so it’s not always a big deal. It is when I have like plans to go party the next day though, because then I am the first one to fall asleep and then I get messed with and stuff.
Working with Kevin has been pretty cool. I’ve been doing some organizing and booking for him. It’ll be nice to have his name on my resume when I’m done working for him. I think it will be a good experience for me to work with someone who actually knows what they’re doing. I’m always a little suspicious of teachers some times. You know what they say, those who can’t do, teach.
My apartment on campus is cool, except I think it might be haunted. I hear noises and stuff when I’m just sitting in my room. My roommate is never home so I know it can’t be him. This morning when I was combing my hair I heard a cow moo, but since I don’t go to Michigan State that doesn’t make any sense. I’ve also been seeing lots of movement out of the corner of my eye and stuff. So now I’m just spending a lot of time in my room. I saw Paranormal Activity, I know what will happen if I go messing around, so I’ve been trying to make it happy. I set out some candy bars and stuff out by the front door to try to lure it out.
My roommate is a cool guy. Except he doesn’t do the dishes ever and he watches TV really loud. It’s like he wants me to take care of him like I’m some kind of mom or something. But I don’t mind most of the time. It’s not that hard to do the dishes and stuff. I just do it absentmindedly. I have a girlfriend too. I’ve been with her for a super long time. Lots of people think it’s weird for us to have been together so long, but I think it’s cool. I like routine.
Overall I think I am a pretty cool guy. I do normal things with normal people. I enjoy to party and all that. I think people should just let people be people you know. It would make things a lot better I think. So now you know Joe the Intern everyone! Stay classy and have a good day.
