A self-proclaimed "boring person," Mary works out every day (and "loves it"), plays tennis and beach volleyball and watches televised golf, or anything on ESPN Classics.

She consumes at least one can of Coke per day to maintain the energy she needs to keep up with Steve's whims. Mary reads the real estate listings religiously and bless her, talks to her parents and sister almost every day. She exudes a can-do attitude so thick, it leaves you wondering why you ever thought anything was difficult to achieve.

March 31, 2004 was a day of destiny for Mary ......as it was then that Steve announced on the air that his assistant was leaving and he had decided to offer the job to his listeners. Her dad was listening and called her immediately. As a second generation listener, Mary seized the opportunity and eagerly applied.

Days of breathless anticipation followed, culminating in Steve's selection of Mary as the chosen candidate. She happily joined the show in April, and has been spreading cheerful sunshine ever since.

Mary's myriad duties consist of managing schedules, helping coordinate special events, and assorted tasks like making sure Steve has the right kind of peanuts. She considers herself quite fortunate to have landed  her "dream job."
