2:02 Steve wants to know when Stan and Terry are going to start wearing dresses to work. So many black guys where dresses for the comedy.
2:03 White comedians do it too but it seems like the black guys are always dressed as fat women. It's like some passive-aggressive slam at their mothers and sisters.
2:04 A guy robbed a bank dressed as a woman in Little Village. He looks like the Larry Johnson Grandma-ma character from the Converse commercials.
2:05 Steve was involved in a meeting so it took him an extra minute or two to get into the studio.
2:06 Terry is thinking of dressing in drag for Mother's Day. It can't be any worse than him marrying a white woman.
2:07 Everyone in Terry's family likes his wife although they ask her not to cook when she comes over. Everyone probably thought she was black when Terry told them her name was Lanelle.
2:08 What kind of circumstances exist where Terry's family tells his wife not to cook? That sounds apocryphal. Is he just projecting? Is he trying to say she's a bad cook?
2:09 It doesn't look like Terry's missed a meal since they got married.
2:12 It's Thursday and time for Music Snob Corner with Pete. Steve doesn't have Pete's CD.
2:13 The CD is in the player but there's no Post-It note. Are we back to this now? Steve doesn't have the list either so you can think why he had nothing at all.
2:14 Pete's entire focus today was making things either for Steve. That doesn't seem possible with him.
2:15 Steve has the Post-It note now which says snob. He'll keep that in the studio so Pete doesn't have to remember to make a new one every week. Plus he likes to reuse things in an effort to be green.
2:16 Pete isn't really green, he just never throws stuff away. He lives in his own garbage. Steve imagines Pete's apartment looking a lot like the apartment of that mannequin dealer in Bucktown. The only difference is Pete has real body parts in his.
2:17 This morning on ABC news Linda and Sylvia did a story about clutter and a woman who's garage is full of stuff. Apparently they make pills to help you with that.
2:18 They didn't have the deaf woman doing that story? Normally she handles all the handicaps.
2:19 Pete had some of the traits of the hoarding woman but not all of them. She's on a medication that makes her less anxious about throwing stuff out.
2:20 Steve understands where Pete is coming from with his tapes. In broadcasting if you have a tape you think there's going to be something on there that you can use. He did have a nice show open today of different tapes featuring Steve or people named Steve.
2:21 Pete's goal is have his studio cleaned out on the Monday of Memorial Day weekend. The main problem is that his whole work area is cluttered which slows him down and then in turn slows Steve down.
2:22 Hoarding refers to the excessive collection and retention of things or animals. Does Pete hoard animals?
2:23 Hoarding often runs in the family and hoarders may not recognize their problem until a family member intervenes. That's Steve, he's like Pete's older, more successful brother.
2:24 Steve knows someone who's sister is one of those newspaper/animal hoarders but Pete's not that bad.
2:25 Some people hoard because they feel an emotional attachment towards their possessions. Is Pete having sex with those tapes? He does surround himself with them.
2:26 Jim has also started hoarding down in the news room. Another thing Pete hoards are the spot grids for every show that list all the breaks, how long they are and the live reads. Ron Lewis normally takes a copy at some point. This is a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that even Steve doesn't want to know about.
2:27 Pete also has a thing about saving Post-It notes. He'll put a note on the CD player when Steve's going to play a song but then he'll save it to reuse in case we ever play that song again.
2:28 Steve is nuts but he has it under control. It's a full-time job though so he's not judging Pete. Steve is almost able to blend in with normal people.
2:35 Sylvia Perez is the medical reporter at ABC. Steve always imagines that she lost her medical license and then became a reporter.
2:36 It's funny that Pete hoards Post-It notes but he won't make one for the CD he brings in every week. Steve figured out why he does that though.
2:37 Every week Pete takes that CD and configures it in a different way with all the rest of this mixtapes. He doesn't need a Post-It note that he can't figure out how to throw out. That's a sure sign of his mental illness affecting his work.
2:38 Pete can't get that CD out of the studio fast enough. Then he puts it in a case with the tracklist and files it away.
2:39 Today's song is called Steven. It's a love song to a guy named Steven. Should Steve lower the blinds or something?
2:40 Pete was worried about his date with Steve at the Arcade Fire show after hearing about the Crosstown Classic broadcast from Yak-Zies.
2:41 Steve can still go to a concert with Pete after the broadcast but he'll probably be drunk. Is Pete going to mind if he leaves early? How long is a concert anyway?
2:42 Tyrone is checking in with some traffic. That Pete is one crazy, mixed-up white boy. Tyrone doesn't want to mess up Pete's song and snobbiness but he has some traffic to report.
2:43 Traffic safety is important to Pete so he doesn't mind. It's the safety of white people which is paramount. If you're on the inbound Edens a truck lost a load of granite and it's all over the road.
2:44 If you're planning on redoing your bathroom maybe there's a big enough piece for your counter top.
2:45 Tyrone's redoing his bathroom but he could build something around a jagged piece of granite if it doesn't break to the right size. He's got a nice place down in Chinatown, it's the top floor of a building he just took over.
2:46 Pete's welcome to come over any time, Tyrone always has ladies in his place. He's got a lot of chairs and couches, sort of like a VIP room. He also has a white dude working in his bathroom and a free condom machine.
2:47 Pete has never met Tyrone that was very exciting. Tyrone always invites people over to his place but never follows through on that.
2:48 Steve just listened to a little of this song, it sounds gay as hell, like gay gay, guy on guy. Steve will have to leave the room when he plays it.
2:49 Song: Steven, Voxtrot
2:51 That song is about the singer's kid right? It could be about two guys trying to raise a kid. Pete never thought of that. Doesn't he listen to his own songs?
2:52 Is Steve and Pete's concert going to be better than that? That sounded like a Broadway revue.
2:58 Buzz should feel free to come in at any time during the Music Snob Corner and help Steve put it down. Buzz is fascinated by the whole thing but it takes a lot out of Steve.
2:59 Steve just got an email about today's Music Snob Corner song from a guy. It made him leave the room, that's how bad it was.
3:00 Steve can't believe Pete doesn't even listen to the lyrics of his songs. He must just like that singing style. He should pick up some Tommy Tune records.
3:01 That was just a bad song that Pete selected today. It's incumbent on him to at least try to select a song people will like but instead he's more interested in showing off what he knows.
3:02 If Steve wrote that song he'd be embarrassed to play it for other people. He's written songs that bad himself.
3:03 Pete is sticking by his selection even though everyone else says it wasn't that good.
3:04 Caller Jeff is a gay man and that song was an embarrassment to his race. Forget about chicks, Pete's not even gonna get dudes with that music.
3:05 Steve just wants to clarify with Jeff that when he says gay, he doesn't' mean gay. The word has taken on a different meaning but for Steve there are two meanings. It's a adjective and a noun.
3:06 Buzz offers Jeff tickets to the Dahlfins show but he'll actually be in Michigan that weekend. Now he's just hurting Steve's feelings. He can't come back for that night?
3:07 Steve feels that Buzz should just give the caller the tickets and not ask if they'll be around. Buzz doesn't think he did that but we can check the tape during the break.
3:08 Live read: Gierczyk Properties
3:09 Steve's going to give the ugly baby a rest today. It seemed really annoying yesterday.
3:16 Buzz did say "if you're not doing anything..." when he offered caller Jeff the tickets. There goes the whole gay section at the show.
3:17 Michael McDermott is here today and he must be setting up because Steve sees a guy he doesn't recognize in a colorful hat.
3:18 Michael has a new album out which Steve painstakingly downloaded today because it's not on iTunes.
3:19 As it turns out Steve could have downloaded the entire album at once but he did it song-by-song. Then one of Michael's people walked into the studio and gave Steve the disc. They should have brought it by yesterday!
3:20 Is one of the guys here with Michael the guy Pete ran into at Butch McGuire's last December?
3:21 It wasn't too hard to download the album but Steve has gotten so spoiled using iTunes. You just click on a button and you get the whole thing, your credit card is charged and since Steve doesn't see the credit card bills it's like they're free. It's genius!
3:22 Speaking of genius, Steve actually had a good experience with one of the Geniuses at the Apple Store. Stephanie from the office made him an appointment with one of the Geniuses to have his computer looked at.
3:23 Steve needs to make a phone call, but he can't remember the number. Who did he just call? Was that Jim? Did he answer "yo"?
3:24 Steve calls Drew because he needs to know when they're going to fix the studio door. It doesn't close on it's own and it's driving Steve nuts. That's not a short drive but still.
3:25 Steve's been in radio for 30 years so he's become trained to not talk when the studio door is open. Even during the breaks if someone comes in to talk to him he makes them close the door first.
3:26 Don't people report to Drew? He needs to work on being a better manager. John's the engineer but he should still be reporting to Drew.
3:27 Drew wants to come down and see if the studio door will close and also to spend some time on the air with Steve.
3:28 Steve had a very creepy moment before the show. He was having his weekly meeting in the office with Drew, Jen the sales manager, Jill from promotions and Mary. At the end of the meeting Mary leaves to come down to the studio leaving Steve alone.
3:29 Today after Mary left Rod came in to tell everyone else about some changes being made. Earlier in the week Rod and Steve met with the new president of CBS radio and had a discussion about The Package idea.
3:30 Steve was invited to a 2 hour brainstorming session with Rod, Drew and Dan to try to think about what they should call the station. Steve's fine with Rod, he speaks his language, but Drew and Dan?
3:31 Steve didn't have the heart to tell Rod he couldn't make it, unless they all want to sit around and talk about how they should use Steve's idea.
3:32 Steve might need Buzz there for moral support. In the entire time since Buzz first heard The Package he hasn't heard any other ideas that have come close. Maybe he could come in right at the beginning of the meeting and say that and then they could walk out like Norma Rae.
3:33 Buzz has the feeling that Dan would be behind The Package. Drew's the one who seems to be against it.
3:34 Steve still hasn't talked about his Apple Store experience. He did discover last night that counters make him edgy. He was waiting in line to talk to one of the Geniuses and he told the guy in front of him that he only had 15 minutes. 15 minutes!
3:35 That's when Steve went into airport mode. It was still a good experience though and Steve's just proud of himself for keeping the appointment and showing up with 2 computers.
3:41 Michael McDermott is here, it's bee a few years since he last visited. Steve's a big fan of MIchael's but he hasn't had him in for a while.
3:42 Michael hasn't had much going on in the last couple of years but he can still come in.
3:43 Steve listens to Michael's music a lot. Sometimes he'll put Twenty Miles South of Nowhere on repeat on his IPod when he runs.
3:44 During the last break Steve went into to say hello to Michael. He went in for the showbiz hug but then Michael kissed him on the cheek, it was awkward. Steve just played it off like that happens all the time.
3:51 Buzz is now in Pete's studio with Michael. Michael has dropped Steve and is now making out with Buzz.
3:52 Michael's new album is available at the One Little Indian Records website. It's called Noise From Words. MIchael met a producer in LA who told him he needed to sound more current so he hired him.
3:53 Then the went to London and recorded and album that sounded like an old REO Speedwagon record. So Michael scrapped that and started over.
3:54 Michael's doing a show tonight at the Chicago History Museum, opening for Shawn Mullins.
3:55 They've got a pretty cool set-up at the museum. You get to see all the stuff, you can have a few beers then you watch the show. Then you can stick around and watch the Bulls game on Lincoln's bed.
3:56 They've to a ton of Lincoln stuff up there. The bed, some clothing, some Lincoln condoms.
3:57 Song: A Mess of Things, Michael McDermott
4:02 Michael's going to do one more song and then he has to get going to make the Chicago History Museum show.
4:08 Michael McDermott is here, he's a fine Chicago singer/songwriter who actually stayed in Chicago. He did go out to L.A. a little bit for a girl.
4:09 Song: A Long Way From Heaven, MIchael McDermott
4:14 Michael is going to stick around and play one more song after the break. Steve would like to see his record company push the song The American in Me. It seems like it could be a really big song. It's not about one side or the other either, it's right in the middle.
4:22 Norm Weiner at XRT is a big fan of Michael's, he's always a good person to have on your side.
4:23 Steve's going to play The American in Me after Michael leaves. It seems like a song that could be really big and played in a bunch of different places.
4:24 Song: Still Ain't Over You Yet, Michael McDermott
4:38 There's a nice full-length version of the David Hasselhoff video on YouTube. Buzz can't imagine being that drunk.
4:39 It seems like the kind of drunk where you're doing other things to keep balanced, but one of the key elements is missing. Then he got the burger to try to right himself.
4:40 Buzz has a rule about drinking. If he's out and he hears himself slur he knows to go home. If Steve heard himself slur he'd try to find another stimulant.
4:41 Steve is waiting for a phone call from Michael McDermott so he knows he's in his car and can play The American in Me. Buzz could start the headlines although it probably won't take him that long to get in his car.
4:42 Steve is still mad at Pete for not pushing Buzz completely out of the mix. It seems like Buzz was much louder this time to make up for the time Pete mixed him down when Jimmy Burns was here.
4:43 Steve can't remember what explanation was decided on for why Pete mixed Buzz down. Pete says it's because he thought Jimmy Burns was The Man in that situation so he didn't want Buzz to overpower him.
4:44 So is Pete saying that he doesn't think the harmonica is as important? That's what it sounds like.
4:45 Pete just felt with Jimmy Burns that Buzz was sort of tentatively sitting in with him so he didn't want to overpower Jimmy. Really though Buzz wants to be mixed normally.
4:46 Steve remembers that he played a clip of Jimmy and Buzz and had Buzz listen to the air feed and it sounded fine and everything was good.
4:47 Michael McDermott has gotten to his car and phoned in. Does he have his radio on? He does, we have a lock!
4:48 Song: The American in Me, Michael McDermott
4:51 Michael's new album doesn't come out until August but you can download it on his record label's website. That's a damn fine song, Steve's got the golden ear.
4:58 On the phone is Dan Jiggetts from Comcast Sportsnet. The Sox won so Steve's happy. Steve saw Dan and Melty do some post-game action.
4:59 It was good to see Jose Contreras go out and get a complete game shut-out. Leaving the starters in won't kill anyone.
5:00 The Cubs played this afternoon and lost 6-4 to the Pirates. Zambrano struggled early and everyone is still waiting for him to get back to where he was after the first month of last year.
5:01 Dan has a feeling the contract situation with Carlos is hanging over his head. The one guy you want locked in is someone like him.
5:02 Now on to the Bulls. Steve will be watching the game on Comcast in HD but he's not looking forward to it. If it's going to be another ass-whupping he's not interested.
5:03 As Steve has said to every Comcast person he's talked to this week the Bulls were acting like they were the Pistons' bitches. Dan can use that if he wants to.
5:04 Buzz has the Comcast HD channel, basketball looks great in HD.
5:05 Buzz is not a big basketball fan but he knows that tonight is crunch time. If they look dead tonight though, they're going to be dead to him.
5:06 Steve wants the Bulls to do well because they're on this station. He can't knowingly promote what he saw on Monday or last Saturday though.
5:07 Neil Funk will be doing the game tonight although Steve Kashel did a good job on Monday.
5:08 It seems really hard to just jump in like Kashel did and start calling a game for Neil. Everything moves so fast.
5:09 Why is Steve the only one who sees something wrong with that Hamilton guy wearing the face mask? It seems like an unfair advantage since his face injury has healed.
5:10 You can wear arm pads and knee pads in the NBA but not everyone can wear the face mask.
5:11 Headlines with Buzz
5:12 This just in, a shooting occurred on a CTA bus today in the Roseland neighborhood on 103rd.
5:13 Al Sharpton appeared to take a shot at Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's Mormon religion. Why is he allowed to say that? It seems just as bad as what Don Imus said. Can they fire him from his radio show?
5:14 HBO Chairman-CEO Chris Albrecht has been fired after allegedly assaulting a female companion after the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight on Saturday.
5:15 Buzz did a story yesterday about a guy on death row who wanted his last meal of a pizza given to a homeless man.
5:16 The guy's request was denied but then PETA, as well as some radio stations, started delivering pizzas to homeless people.
5:17 Steve heard a PETA guy on Nerds Radio today and he was really excited about handing out pizzas to homeless guys but he seemed to be forgetting that guy had just been executed.
5:24 FYI Steve is driving to Des Moines this weekend but he's not mad at Drew. Drew offers to drive him there. Was this all just a ploy to drive with Steve? Why on earth would he want to drive for 10 hours with Drew? He'd end up in the Mississippi if he made it that far. Drew is very scrappy but Steve feels he'd ultimately prevail and throw him out of the car.
5:27 One of these days the right jet deal is going to come along for Steve. He likes to think that there's a young kid out there, maybe in college, listening to the show and dreaming of owning his own jet company and helping Steve out.
5:28 It's time now for Meat Talk brought to us by Chef Hans and the cowbell. Hans is in temperature shock right now, the day started in the mid-80s and when he was walking over here it felt like the mid-60s.
5:29 Hans told Buzz that during the break. Then Buzz went back to the office and checked some readings on the computer and the lowest he could find was 78º. Steve thinks Hans is out of his mind, it's 82º in the 60601 zip code.
5:30 Maybe Hans should go to the doctor, there could be something wrong. Steve would love to side with him but you can't side against the weather.
5:31 Now Ed Silha is checking in with weather from the Weather Channel like Steve cares. They say it's 71º in the 60601 area code. Does he really need to hear from Ed on this?
5:32 Steve is not even going to go outside tonight. He'll leave the studio and go to his car in the garage and then drive home and park in his garage there then walk into his house.
5:33 What's the point of Hans saying it's gotten cooler? He is wearing his thong with Birkenstock sandals and black socks so you can see how that might effect him.
5:34 Hans probably looks like all those German tourists you see in Mexico. He says he doesn't have a Speedo. He probably has a bathing suit that looks like steak.
5:35 Hans hasn't been to the beach since he lived in Miami. That's when he hung out with Jackie Gleason and had to carry him around because he was drunk.
5:41 Steve went to S & W recently and had the bone-in ribeye. Quite frankly, it was the best steak Steve has ever had. The steak is always good near the bone.
5:42 Hans will be meeting with the Cattleman's Association next week and he still thinks there's a way to make Meat Talk a syndicated segment. The Cattleman's Association is in town for the Food Show which must be a big week for S & W.
5:43 Next week Hans will be hosting 18 judges from 12 different countries coming to dinner for the Culinary Classic. It's like his own Nuremberg Trial. Steve dropped Buzz with that one, he loves the Nuremberg stuff. He didn't even have to say nazi!
5:44 The first emailer has been looking to upgrade to an infrared grill. Steve doesn't know anything about infrared.
5:45 Infrared is all the rage in grills these days. It seems like the purpose of it is for rotisserie grilling. Steve's new Weber has infrared but he hasn't tried it out yet.
5:47 The next emailer has a question about steak tacos. What should she be looking for in skirt steak, what should she marinate it in and how should she cook it.
5:48 If you get the skirt steak you can put some salt and pepper on there. If you get the grill really hot it only takes 2 minutes on each side.
5:49 Then you need to slice it really thin against the grain.
5:50 The third emailer wants to hear Chef Hans' story about feeding the pig that he told last week. Pigs don't like citrus, they'll eat anything but citrus.
5:51 When Hans was a kid his uncle had pigs that he would have to feed. When Hans would feed them leftovers they ate everything except the citrus.
5:58 That was a very civilized, organized and informative Meat Talk. Steve needs to figure out that infrared thing but he probably will once he gets his grill.
5:59 Hans gets the infrared confused with his broiler which just gets really hot and glows. Maybe someone could call in and sum it up.
6:00 Mark has some info on his page. Infrared will char a steak on the outside and leave it rare on the inside.
6:01 Infrared works by focusing the flame of a gas burner on a ceramic plate with thousands of microscopic holes in it. That converts the heat from the flame into infrared energy, the same energy you get from the sun on a cold day. Will Steve be trying to get a tan from his grill?
6:02 Live read: Townstone Financial
6:04 Matt and Brendan went to Atlantis the other night and they thought they had sent them a car. In reality it was My Chauffeur who arranged for the car.
6:05 When Matt found out that the club didn't send the limo he was momentarily disappointed. But someone did send a car for him, it just wasn't Atlantis.
6:06 Now Matt and Brendan will only roll up to an appearance in a limo. They probably won't be footing the bill either because that would sort of erase any money they made from the appearance.
6:07 Brendan's not sure what brand of car he was in but it was a smaller limo with 4 big captain's chairs that were facing each other. Was it a Hummer?
6:08 Steve has never heard of a limo like that. Maybe he needs to expand his limo horizons.
6:09 Matt Dahl says it was a regular 6-person Lincoln Town Car. Steve's going to trust Matt on that one.
6:10 That's OK though, Brendan doesn't know the limos that well. Maybe one day Steve will take him on a tour of the yard at My Chauffeur.
6:11 There are only three limos that are acceptable to Steve, the town car, the 6-person and the 9-person with the wrap-around couch.
6:12 Steve doesn't want to know what happens after 9-person. If you need to transport more than 9 people you need another car.
6:13 A 6-person is your standard Hollywood show-up-and-look-cool limo. With limos size does matter but the smaller ones are better.
6:14 The worst rented car experience Steve has ever had was when he was forced to rent a purple PT Cruiser in Vegas.
6:15 Dan had rented the car because he claimed that he need it to transport broadcast equipment. They were there for the NAB so apparently you couldn't get a better car.
6:16 Buzz had so much fun taking the town car to the track last Friday. That's where Buzz came in last Thursday and asked if anyone else was driving out there. All of the sudden he's Mr. Share-a-Ride.
6:17 It sounded like a perfect day for Buzz. He got a limo ride out to the track and he gambled with someone else's money.
6:18 Buzz's drive Marie was also excellent. Does he resist the urge to talk to his driver?
6:19 Buzz talked to his driver on the way home, they shared Miami stories. How does Buzz always end up with the chicks? Steve always gets dudes.
6:20 Steve never wants to chat with anyone. If he's in the car he usually pretends he's doing something with his phone or he calls Jeff. With Jeff you're on the phone but you don't have to to any talking.
6:26 Next Friday Steve and Buzz are broadcasting from Yak-Zies in Wrigleyville. It's a station-wide Crosstown Classic broadcast. Buzz should start thinking now about how to get a town car to drive him there.
6:27 Drew sent Steve a line-up for the broadcast which is the exactly same line-up with have every other day. It's just fake busy work. Buzz sent it out like he handcrafted a new schedule just for that day.
6:28 Buzz can probably walk to Yak-Zies from his place. That's a dream come true. There's a poster that features Steve pitching with everyone else around him. Not sidekicks though, hence no Buzz Kilman.
6:29 The guy who does these posters always makes Steve look younger. For some reason Matt looks older than Steve. He should look like an infant. Stan and Terry are both on there so apparently neither of them are a sidekick.
6:30 Steve's never been to Yak-Zies but he's been told they have excellent chicken wings. Buzz hasn't had a chicken wing in a while.
6:31 It's going to be a very interesting crowd at Yak-Zies. You'll have Cubs and Sox fans picking fights right in front of Steve and Buzz. Then they'll go to the game and depending on who wins people will come back and get into more fights and all the broadcast equipment will be overturned.
6:32 Drew came down today to check the studio door to see that it didn't shut. He must have opened and closed it 3 or 4 times because he clearly doesn't believe Steve's complaint.
6:33 Wouldn't Steve's word be enough for Drew? It's been broken since Monday? What has he been doing other than working on the line-up for the Yak-Zies broadcast, which is the same line-up we have every day.
6:41 Ozzie's right on the money with his hatred of Wrigley Field. There are no amenities there, even for the Cubs fans.
6:42 We're getting ready to do another stellar sports cast here but first Steve has to make a phone call.
6:43 During the last break Jim came in and put the news audio in the CD player. However he didn't take out the old audio from the headlines which is nearly identical only with one less cut. What kind of a helper does that?
6:44 Jim didn't look at the second CD player, he thought it was sports audio. That's what Steve surmised. Jim came into the studio when Steve wasn't even there either so he's lucky it even got noticed.
6:45 Steve has been trying to streamline things a little bit and get Jim to give the CD to Mary. But even when he does that he just puts the CD in front of her and doesn't tell her what it is.
6:46 Jim doesn't say much. Him and Pete are both very uncommunicative and they're nuts. The two of them together make one whole nut. What kind of people ride the same EL train together, sit by each other and listen to different iPods without talking?
6:47 Steve had to hang up on Jim because he was starting to annoy him but he might have to deal with him during the break. It didn't seem like Jim had the proper level of remorse but he will when Steve's done with him.
6:53 Steve didn't go down and give Jim a talking to, he felt the specter of that was more than enough to make him remorseful. Buzz wasn't down there during the break to see if Jim was remorseful.
6:54 Steve calls Jim. He still doesn't sound remorseful. He can see what he did though right? The CDs are almost identical, Steve can't tell the difference.
6:55 Jim is very compartmentalized which is good and bad. Everyone who works for Steve is crazy but he's found a way to make it work. Every once in a while it blows up in his face though. Jim is just as crazy as Pete. You have to be crazy to sit back in that room and do all that stuff. Jim is like a badger and every once-in-a-while he comes out of his hole.
6:56 News with Buzz
6:57 British Prime Minister Tony Blair has announced his resignation. He still step down in June. So who replaces him?
6:58 It was the Tony Blair audio that was the difference between the two news audio CDs. It was a nice addition.
6:59 The Dow dropped significantly today, just as Buzz predicted. Luckily he got out before the drop. A lot of Jim's smugness is coming from how well the market is doing.
