NUTS!Not that you necessarily care or need to know this, but I am going to start trying to write my blogs right after my workout. I can pop back into the office and crank one out before I head home for the day. Back when we did afternoons, I would write my blog in the morning at home, with the intent of getting it posted by noon, so that you, the blog reader, would be inspired to tune into the radio show. That seemed to work pretty well, and I think getting something up by early afternoon is the best thing to do for the morning show and my tired little brain.

Now that we’re on in mornings, I have been trying to write these things in the late afternoon or early evening, and I’m finding that as the day drags on, so does my enthusiasm to write. I have also noticed a peak in my creativity at around midday (some say it happens way earlier), so maybe the timing will work out better this way. Look, I’ve already wasted 181 words telling you about my change in plan. Make that 192. If I do this properly, you will be sorry you missed something on the show and will resolve to tune in tomorrow.

Buzz and I spent some time on Tuesday morning talking about Britney Spears and all of the troubles she is having. In fact, Drew Peterson stopped by for his weekly National Enquirer reading, even though he was upset that he’s not only not on the cover but also not found anywhere in the magazine. The Enquirer clams that Britney could “possibly” be on meth on Drewthe inside of the paper, but on the cover they make it seem like she is for sure. You know I have a lot of empathy for Britney, and I would love to be able to help her, but no one puts me in touch with her.

I would even speak in a fake English accent if that would help ease her mind. Tuesday afternoon they had Harvey Levin from TMZ.com on CNN and he was explaining what’s wrong with Britney. I was naked and in the locker room at the time, but I still exclaimed to no one in particular, “What’s wrong with her is people like you who won’t leave her alone!” I think people in the gym thought I was using my Bluetooth headset (which I don’t have) or just that I was a crazy naked guy. With a body like mine, you really don’t want to draw attention to yourself naked, I guess.
