Up until Tuesday afternoon I had never seen an episode of Judge Judy. I guess that’s a function of having been on the radio in the afternoons for the last 12 years. Man, is she mean. It’s entertaining, but she makes Judge Wapner look like Buddhist monk. I’m sure this Judge Judy news is not news to most of you, but I was shocked by what a bitch she is. Each case seems to feature someone that you don’t mind seeing her put in his or her place, so I guess that’s the formula. I have to say it was working for me.

I’m also ashamed to say that I found Judge Judy sort of hot, but then I’m on a judge kick this week, what with my affinity for the Honorable Amy St. Eve (Rezko trial) and now Judge Judy. Only Oprah makes more TV money than Judge Judy, something that I also find very appealing. Since I’m baring my soul in this particular blog, let me also say that I was strangely attracted to Rachel Ray today too. I was especially entranced as she made Power Burgers in honor of Donald Trump's visit to the show on Tuesday. What can I say?

Now I’m watching the afternoon newscasts and watching all of the weather people explain why the “blizzard-like” conditions that they were predicting during Tuesday’s afternoon rush have not yet materialized as of 4:30 PM. There’s some cockeyed explanation about storms to the south sucking all of the moisture, the mayhem, and the fun out of our storm. One thing is for sure: It will get very cold, and before it does that, it will get very windy. Of course, I will have to stay indoors because there is a trailer and toupee ban in effect.

Ben Gay mentioned that there would be blowing and drifting Tuesday afternoon, but I wasn’t sure if he was talking about the weather or his social life. I hope he’s wearing a jacket and his rubbers. Part of me wants the power in my neighborhood to go out just so I can enjoy the thrill of my generator kicking in, but the other side of me doesn’t want all of my neighbors to end up at my house. This would be a good night for a big bowl of chili. I am on a diet, so I am having pork meatballs on Spanish brown rice and green beans. That doesn’t sound too bad either.
