I am typing this on my iphone as I walk in the neighborhood doing my cardio. I m meeting Todd Cavanagh at the Sox game Thursday night at 5:30. It's Carlton Fisk's return night (not sure if that's the official tittle) but as you can imagine, I don't want to miss any of the festivities. Carlton and I have a one-sided bromance. Sometimes I'm not even sure he knows that I still exist. How gay does that sound?
The Purple Hearts people are coming to pick up used clothing on Friday and I was in the mood to empty out my closet which took a little bit longer than I thought. It feels good to throw things out in the springtime, though and I am high right now on dumping the last of my 3XL shirts and pants to make room for more of the good old 2XL.
I'm trying to correct this as I walk and type, but I'm not going to proof-read it when I'm done, I'm just going to send it. The iPhone is pretty good at correcting as I type, so we'll see how it turns out.
I'm only 15 minutes into my walk and ok already getting dizzy from looking down. I hope I don't run into a parked car, or worse yet, a moving vehicle. That would be embarrassing.
Well, I'm already kind of getting bored with this little experiment, but I will press on since I have another 40 minutes to walk (total one hour). According to my Polar F6 heart rate monitor I have already burned 233 calories. That's one of the perks of being fat; you burn a lot of calories when to work out. Sadly, it's never enough. Especially when I'm looking at another White Sox pre-game buffet.
I am kind of worried that I will hit a wrong button and delete everything that I've typed with my right thumb while holding my iPhone (it always corrects the spelling of iPhone), so maybe I'll send this part to Computer Ed before I accidentally delete it. Moore in a few minutes after I look up and get my balance back...

The first of the blog seemed to get sent without a hitch, and buoyed by that success I decided to embark upon a photo taking jag. I normally like my blog to be about 360 words bit since I don't have a word counter on my iPhone I figured that making this a blog/photo essay would count as a legitimate creative effort. I have now been walking for 47 minutes and I have burned 498 calories on the process.
Remarkably, typing and walking has neither slowed nor impeded my progress. I have my iPod on shuffle (the Apple phone also automatically corrects iPod too) and right now I'm digging some Foreigner "Feels Like The First Time. I don't like using my iPhone as an iPod even though I could. I'm not sure why. Some things about myself I just don't question. Know what I mean? Well I'm getting to the part of my walk that is the most dangerous. Sure there's more traffic, but that's not the dangerous part. There's a big-ass hill that I have to climb. Every time it tires me out I hope that Walter Payron isn't looking down on me from hesven. That sweetness could take a hill. Here's a picture of it. Only 7 more minutes and I should burn about 675 calories. Guess I can have seconds at the White Sox game.
