I am afraid to actually go to dahl.com because I don’t want to see the video of me taking a golf lesson on Tuesday afternoon. Fortunately, I don’t have to go there since it’s my site and all. I can just send my blog as a Word document to Ed Silha and it gets posted without my ever having to see the anything. Please let me know when it’s safe to go back there. I am especially embarrassed now that they just showed a guy golfing with one leg on the Channel 7 News at 5:00. The dude has the ability to golf better than I do with ONE LEG. Well, I’ll keep working on it, and maybe one of these days I won’t cringe when I watch myself.

I am typing this in my boxer shorts as I sit and watch the White Sox at Detroit. I’m having fun watching the White Sox this year, and I also like sitting in my boxer shorts. Cubs fans must be pretty happy with what’s happening on the North Side too. I also happened to catch the first press conference of new Bulls head coach Vinny Del Negro, or Vinny Of The Negro, as I will insist on calling him for his tenure here. He looks like he should be the male lead in Mama Mia or maybe a middle aged-version of Jersey Boys. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see him in a production of Grease. Jay Mariotti is going to be really jealous of that hair.

We got to hear from Drew Peterson on Wednesday regarding the cameras in his neighbor Sharon Bychowski’s back yard. There was a great picture at the Sun-Times Web site featuring Drew standing on the deck of his above-ground pool wearing a T-shirt that says “It’s not my job to blow sunshine up your ass.” You can’t read that from the picture, but we called the photographer, Joe Hosey, from the Herald News. Joe also wrote the article, so he is covering the Peterson case multi-media style. Maybe when Brendan is finished covering the R. Kelly trial we can send him down to Bolingbrook to do some reporting and snap a few photos too. Although Brendan’s forte seems to be sketching.
