The JakeI have a rough version of the new parody song that I’m working on in honor of Amy Jacobson suing Channel Two to share with you in this blog. I’m stuck on a few lyrics, so I’m going to need a little more time to polish it. It’s “Amy,” sung to the tune of the same name which was originally performed by Pure Prairie League. Normally, I would save that fact for the on-air unveiling, but I want to stake my territory right now. I wish Amy the best of luck in her lawsuit, but I don’t think people usually head over the East Bank Club dressed in their swimsuits (at least I don’t think adults do). Of course, I could be wrong about that.

Amy what you gonna do?
I think I could stay with you
For awhile but sue Channel Two if I do

Guess you think the time is right for you to try?
To clear up things we thought weren't proper with that Stebic guy
And can you see
No one ever wears a suit to the East Bank Club
Don’t know if you were waxed cuz you covered up
(doesn’t take HD to see)

Amy what you gonna do?
I think I could stay with you
For awhile but sue Joe Ahern if I do

(Acoustic solo)

Well now
Amy what you gonna do?
I think I could stay with you
For awhile but sue Rob Johnson if I do

It will come your day in court you’ll have your say
Seeing you in a swimsuit makes me know that I’m not gay
And can you see
That I don't think that’s the way to gather news
At least you weren’t walking around with a glass of booze
Won't you look at me and tell me

Amy what you gonna do?
I think I could stay with you
For awhile and meet Kathy Zellner if I do

Yeah now
Amy what you gonna do?
I think I could stay with you
For awhile but sue Stebic’s neighbor if I do

Fallin' in and out of love with you
Fallin' in and out of love with you
Don't know what I'm gonna do, I'd keep
Fallin' in and out of love
With you

Drunken' Weenies!
