Descent Into The Archives – November 2, 2013
Today’s Descent is from WCKG in October of 2005. Steve, Buzz and Wendy have White Sox Fever. Craig Gass is stopping by, but Steve is reluctant to have him in the studio because before podcasting, he actually cared about a government agency called the FCC.
The broadcast recaps the previous night’s epic 14-inning game and the overwhelming suspense in the Dahl house during the game as well as their new post game ritual. Steve recalls his baseball days as a pitcher, as Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt takes a page out his Steve’s book by intentionally hitting a batter on a 3-0 count, and discusses Astros manager Phil Garner’s bad blood with the White Sox
