Steve and Janet hosted (most of) the grandkids for a beef tenderloin and strawberry shortcake fueled pool party over the weekend. Brendan had a lovely and unforgettable chance encounter with some friendly strangers at a Lincoln Square bar. Dag fixed his finicky lawnmower by buying a new one and bringing it home to scare his old one. Steve was down near Tom Thayer over the weekend but failed to contact him.
