Steve needed a few days to process the exploding golf ball prank, but he’s over it. He enjoyed Father’s Day on the golf course with Mike Dahl, while Dag and his family had a happy feast at L. Woods. Brendan received an extension on his current lease and is using the time to fully soak in all the wonder of Bucktown. He went to Margie’s over the weekend, just as The Beatles did nearly 60 years ago. Tom Thayer has some thoughts on Bears training camp, which he delivers from the road. He was en route to a Bears alumni golf outing in Kenosha. Steve’s neighbor received a flamethrower for Father’s Day, and celebrated by accidentally setting some trees on fire, sending volunteer fireman Steve into action. It was out by the time he got a line to it.
