Steve texted Tom Thayer at 9:56 last night, barely beating the 10 PM cutoff. All-time QB, Grandpa Steve was hesitant about playing the Dahl Turkey Bowl in the road. Dag smoked a turkey and earned rave reviews. Brendan forgot to bring home his leftovers.

Bears and Beatles and Bingo, oh my! We return from our Thanksgiving break, each of us having had a lovely time with family. Steve and Dag watched (and loved!) Get Back with the Beatles, Steve called four rounds of Thanksgiving Bingo for the grandkids, and everyone watched the Bears pull out a squeaker against the Lions. Even Tom Thayer felt fairly pleased with the victory. We get a clarification from Dr. Keith Sklar on the proper term for “the pinkie toe,” with regards to Aaron Rodgers. We also explore the roaring ‘20s as reimagined in the roaring ‘50s, via The Gaslight Club, a great place to kill time while waiting for a plane at ORD.
