Dahl Background

Hide The Pickle

About This Episode

Though it takes a while to finally arrive, the Christmas Spirit arrives in Steve and blossoms into full display in today’s DahlCast. We explore some holiday traditions and search for the origin the Christmas pickle, which takes us from Germany to Woodstock and back again. We’re not entirely sure of the tale’s beginnings, but we know it’s hiding out there somewhere. Still, though, Brendan is let down by Dag not knowing his town’s role in the importance of the pickle. Steve witnessed a very private moment between his parents. Steve’s sitting on a fruitcake (please allow me to finish my thought) story for next week. Happy Holidays, everyone!
