Janet is doing the gardening and cuts the extension cord by mistake, something Steve feared might happen. There’s still a smoky haze in the New Buffalo skies, but that’s not what caused Steve to miss the sunset. Steve witnessed some good sportsmanship at Henry’s baseball game. Steve relates a story about a conflict with his neighbors, and their subsequent refusal to acknowledge, let alone accept, his apology.
