The Thayer family introduced a French Bulldog puppy to the brood. Tom’s dog Ernie is mentoring the puppy. A fan bought Tom a beer and vented about the Bears for 20 minutes. Steve travels to Florida Saturday to get ready for next week’s special visitors

The Florida trip is just a week away, a revelation that seems to take the guys by surprise. Steve will be flying down a few days early to make sure the house is up to Brendan and Dag’s exacting standards. The Bears loss was a tough one, to say the least. Tom Thayer has the cure to their biggest problem, but he’s not sure management wants to hear it. In the meantime, he’ll continue to field unsolicited ideas from Bears fans. Our SOTD is none other than the Aaron Rodgers double bird flipper! What are the odds? (Spoiler alert: They’re 61,500/1)
