The rainy season is descending on Florida, right as Steve and Janet are looking forward to their final week down there. Steve’s backside is still sore, but he’ll be seeking more massages and, he hopes, a final round of golf before their departure. Tom Thayer was happy to reconnect with Tom Waddle at his new workplace (ESPN 1000), and shares some poignant memories of Walter Payton and the Super Bowl. NFL Draft fever has come to Chicago! Brendan saw an almost perfect Cubs game while Hank was off with his godparents and celebrating his 13th birthday. There’s carrot cake!
