Today’s show starts off with a brief appreciation of Johns Hopkins University, but given our brain power, a brief tribute is all we can muster. Steve and Janet posed for a wonderful picture with ALL the grandkids last night at Matt Dahl’s triumphant (and loud?) band performance at the Western Springs event, Jammin’ in July. Matt was fittingly on fire on the keyboards. Janet and Dag long for the afternoons of wall to wall soap operas. Brendan was at the Cubs game last night, while Dag got some much needed laughter at the TJ & Dave show. Steve once admonished Janet for letting a stranger with car trouble into their house, while there was a gas station merely blocks away.
