Mike Dahl pays an unexpected visit to the studio, using the “cut” signal on Steve as he makes his way in. It’s a gesture that triggers Steve’s rebellious nature. Steve subliminally portions out meat loaf slices for he and Janet. After another round of apologies, we hear about Brendan’s birthday celebration, to some extent. He’s a little bare bones on the info, but we’re able to determine that there were friends, football on a big screen TV, and plenty of Miller Lite. Speaking of Brendan, a listener drives through Wrigleyville, noting Brendan’s favorite haunts, but she doesn’t see him or Hank bopping around.
